A turn is a single player's set of actions. A player has a distinct turn, followed by their opponent taking their distinct turn.
A player may not encounter in the first turn of the game. Following this, the second player may then Initiate Encounters.
The initiating player chooses what they are encountering. They may only encounter their opponent directly if the opponent controls no cards.
In the event that there is a conflict between multiple cards' effects, the most recently played card takes precedence.
If a card effect commutes the properties of one Trait (the commuted Trait) to another (the base Trait), the commuted Trait itself is not gained by the affected cards. If a card possesses both the base Trait and a commuted Trait, effects are only applied once.
If there are no cards in play for this effect, this card has no new Power or effect.

On your turn, you may use this card to change the target of an Encounter you Initiate to a card you control.
This card’s effect still applies if it itself is Knocked Out while Knocking Out another card.
You may control multiple cards with the same Trait; however, this only counts as 1 distinct Trait.
If there are no cards in Recovery for this effect, this card has 0 Power and no effect.

Cards do not gain the additional Trait. Effects that require combinations of multiple Traits do not trigger on cards with aliased Traits.
